BEST Setup for Recording Acoustic Guitar with 2 Mics??

“In this one I’m trying out recording acoustic guitar with two mics. I chose two very different mics. The Neumann km184 small diaphragm condenser and the Extinct Audio BM9 Ribbon mic. These are two very different mics and both have very different sounds. I try to take the best of both and combine them, the rich depthness of the ribbon and the crystal clear detail of the condenser. The Neumann km184 is famous for having lots of detail in the top end so I place it facing the neck on the guitar and the BM9 is a handmade ribbon mic from the UK which sounds as good as it looks and has such amazing depth and richness and I place it facing the bridge.” Fabian Holland.
